Amid COVID, a children’s nursery in Better Green’s local community tasked them to design a converted unused and seemingly derelict barn into a new learning and activity space for the children.
The brief : to use as much of the existing structure as permitted by the engineering report
A durable, easy to clean and maintain, safe and design led space
A Large percentage of materials removed were to be incorporated into the fit-out wherever possible to reach sustainability goals
The results exceeded all expectations with a complete transformation, from groundbreaking to reopening in only five weeks
A deeply satisfying and proud moment for Better Green, as we were able to lead a local project that created a beautiful space, that made a real difference, in difficult and unprecedented times.
